Winter in Ohio can be very bipolar, but nonetheless there’s an abundant of activities to enjoy! When it snows, Ohio turns into such a beautiful winter wonderland; from the snow covered trees to the frozen lakes. Just because the weather is cold doesn’t mean you have to stay inside all winter! So bundle up and head out to enjoy all the magical activities we have to offer here in Ohio.
The Old Man’s Cave area is the most popular spot in the park and consists of more than just the cave. It also includes quite a few waterfalls, a couple of caves, carvings, and more in the beautiful gorge.
People from all over come to hike in The Hocking Hills since it is one of, if not the most popular park in the state of Ohio. With over 10,000 acres of trails, waterfalls, caves, gorges and more, wouldn’t you want to hike this gem?
Ohio has some of the most beautiful places to view the colors changing, especially here in Northeast Ohio. While just about anywhere can show off the fall colors, the following are some of my absolute favorite places in Northeast Ohio that require little to no hiking.
\Whether you just want to spend some time outside, or if you want to wander around in the woods or on a river, or even if you’re not outdoorsy but don’t want to sit inside all day; there’s something for you here.
Some of the best fall foliage views anywhere require some hiking, so below are my favorite hikes that either lead to a beautiful vista or the hike itself is amazing when the colors are changing.
There’s so much history in our park system here in Northeast Ohio area that I had to make a whole blog post about it! We have tons of local reservations and a National Park filled with everything from man-made to natural history just waiting to be explored.
